: Referring physician for Medicare (Consult)

If Dr. A is an admitting physician (IH) and Dr. B (specialist) did a consult on same day.
Now, we are sending bill to Medicare for Dr. B consult (99222) .  I just wanted to confirm that "Rendering Provider" and "Referring Provider" will be the same i.e. Dr. B .... and we shouldn't use Dr. A as a "Referring Physician" ??  please let me know if otherwise.

Dr. B is rendering, Dr. A is referring. Dr. B can't refer themselves for a consult.
