Vaccine administration reimbursements
« on: October 07, 2009, 07:39:15 PM »
Can you please give me an idea of what we can charge for an administration fee for H1N1.  I realize that we won't be charging for the vaccine.

If a patient is seen for a routine visit and given the H1N1 vaccine at that time, will they reimburse for the administration fee?  What about Medicare?

no copay, no out of pocket for the administration. I believe you can't charge the office visit if it is routine and for the purpose of receiving the H1N1 vaccine or any other influenza vaccine.
