We offer credentialing services but we don't use any specific software or company.

Ditto, software isn't needed so long as you know what your doing and it depends on the level of credentialing you are doing.. basic or advanced which includes (contract review, fee schedule negotiations, etc)

Hi

I wasn't able to see this thread and posted another one with a similar question.

With the growing demand of credentialing. I feel there is a need for a software wherein it can auto-populate the personal demographics of the provider to the application form. So we dont have to do it over and over again for the same application form for a different provider. That would make life easier :)

I suppose it's a matter of personal preferences, the demographics really isn't time consuming IMO enough to warrant the use/cost of software.

Yes. There is Intellisoft and there is SyMed. I prefer SyMed. But are a bit too expensive for the scale of doctors we credential. We will go with Intellisoft and hopefully streamline the credentialing process.  :)

Appreciate everyone's input.

Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Thanks for sharing this information, I did not know there was software for this.  You can also create your own paper work to ask the provider for information or go straight to the website and enter the info yourself if you don't want to pay for info.

How much do they charge (symed)? I have an issue with companies that don't tell you up front costs.
