: primary and secondary insurance

if a client has 2 insurances, isnt the following correct?

client has blue cross insurance-(we are ppo provider)  claim is sent to bc and payment is made and the provider discount is still placed in account.  then secondary insurance is filed along with copy of bc eob.   

or

bc payment is made and entire remaining account balance is sent to secondary.

the first is the correct one right?

Whether there is 2 or 3 or even 4 carriers involved each PPO adjustment should be made at the time the payment is posted.
So yes the first scenario would hold true as long as you mean that the "adjustment" is taken at the time the payment is posted. You wrote:
