NF & WC codes
« on: December 01, 2010, 01:04:14 PM »
Hi.  Is it true that starting today Dec. 1, 2010 NF & WC coding has changed?  We were billing 99213 for adjustments across the board for both.  Now they want regular codes as with other ins. companies.  I heard WC was changing but did not hear about NF.  Please enlighten me?   Thanks

Yes, that is true, as of 12/1/2010 WC fee schedule as changed, along with the global code that used to be billed for chiropractors.  There are many changes.  We are still waiting for the book that must be purchased from ingenix to get all info needed on new changes.  I will be happy to share more when I know more!

What states are we talking about?  There's been no notification in CA of changes.

I believe it is NF as well since NF goes by WC fee schedule.
