will be starting to bill for a brand new practice for an iop facility... any pointers?? to be as error free as possible??

Congrats on your new account can I ask how you landed the account was it a referral, cold calling or direct mail. I bill for a group of MH doc but they do not do IOP they do inpt hosp and partial hosp stay MH is the most easiest billing so you should not have too many problems with clean claims going out.

IOP is billed on UB04 forms (usually).  It's not a lot different than billing other mental health, but you have to make sure you get the type of bill and rev codes correct.
