I agree completely but don't we legally have to provide them with an itemized statement of services if they request it?

The codes for telephone conferences are:

99441 5-10 minutes
99442 11-20 minutes
99443 21-30 minutes

It's important for the provider to note the time the conference begins and ends in the notes.

The therapist is not a Physician, licensed as an LCSW and the telephone call refers to the individual session they have every Tues so it says we cannot code that if it is performed within the previous 7 days and is referring to the Ind session correct? They have an Individual 1 hour session each Tues and one Family Call on Thurs each week for 6-8 weeks.....

If you're billing for THERAPY not an E/M code you can bill for the phone call.  I was mainly giving you the codes since you wanted to itemize the services on the statement.  Those are the codes for the service.

but they are a non-accredited private facility, no insurance from what I understand so far?  that means they need only provide the patient with their own standard bills. So long as they are advising patient's up front (I would actually have patient's sign it) then I do not see where they have to bend over backwards.

Linda, I completely agree.  If it's an all inclusive they shouldn't have to break it all out.  And they definitely shouldn't make special arrangements for one client.  Every time someone asks me for something like this I assume I'm getting investigated or scammed!
