Hello all I have q quick question my clearinghouse mapped the claim out incorrect where the units went across as 40 units and it should have been 400 units can I just reopen the claim on Medicare website and change the units or will I need to request an overpayment and send in a whole new claim on the J code with the correct units this is the first time this has ever happened to me where the units were sent incorrectly.

Medicare allows you to change procedure code by reopening it over their portal or on a phone call. Therefore, you should not be having any problem changing the number of units and the billed amount. Please wait till you see an ICN assigned by payer for the claim.
