: Merry Christmas!
: Michele December 25, 2012, 08:06:51 PM
Merry Christmas to all forum members who celebrate!  Not intending to offend those of you who don't but I still hope you have an amazing day!  I personally am so looking forward to the new year.  2012 had many challenges for me.  Looking forward to what's in store for 2013!

Happy New Year to all.  Here's hoping that 2013 will bring more financial certainty and thus more prosperity to all.  (Typed as we appear to be going over the fiscal cliff with a parachute.)

... going over the fiscal cliff with a parachute.

That was just a phrase I read.  Meant that Congress would sign a bill, but it would be sometime in the New Year, after we had gone "over the cliff".  So - over the cliff, but temporarily.  And so it seems to have worked out that way.  The bill that was passed also put off the 27% Medicare cut to physicians for a year.

Bush tax cuts expired, even if only briefly.  So now, they are the Obama tax cuts.  That will make for an interesting footnote in the history books.
