BCBS online access question
« on: July 07, 2008, 11:26:18 PM »
I would like to have online access to BCBS online services, such as checking claim status, etc.  Providers I bill for are not contracted with BCBS and I bill for them as out of network providers.  I was told to sign up with a company called Availity, which I did, but only thing I can do with that is look up eligibility benefits.  You have to file through them in order to look up claims.  I do paper claims, so do not use their service.  I have access to United Healthcare, and Cigna - even though providers are not contracted with them either and it sure is helpful.   thanks.

You may sign up on BCBS i-linkblue site. When you go to sign in, it should have a link for new members to click. If you have anymore questions just call the BCBS in your state and they should help you.

Thanks for the suggestion kbolt.  If you can't connect using the ilink site don't hesitate to contact your local bcbs.  We got set up thru our local bcbs and it is an invaluable tool for us.

Thanks
Michele
