: BILLING UB 04 FORMS

I AM BILLING FOR A OUTPT REHAB AND DRUG FACILITY, I AM GETTING DENIED STATING I AM NOT USING AN INPATIENT DATE OF SERVICE, BUT THE CODE IS NOT FOR INPT.  COULD IT BE THAT WE ARE USING AN INCORRECT TYPE OF BILL CODE, SO THAT IS WHY THEY ARE DENYING?

Possibly, but I would call and get clarification from a customer service rep.  I have not heard of that reason for a denial before.

sls are you billing for h0015? Intensive outpatient program for substance abuse (saiop) services. What revenue code are you using, and what bill type?

Thanks DMK....i'm still around...I have been swamped with new clients and transitioning to making my billing service my full job, among other projects. I just dropped in to see what was new.
