I have to agree with Michelle, the ability to change the carrier on a claim level is a rather needed function in today's world due to all the changes.. I don't think I have worked on a PM software that you couldn't make that change on a claim by claim basis.

That would be difficult for me too Linda, I just don't know her system to help her see if its possible. Customer service should be able to assist.

I emailed to customer service and he was not sure what the other billers where doing in this case.
He did not say that there was a option, I think I will try to call him later today because I am wondering if he understands what I am asking.

If it were my software I would want to know if it's an "option" or a "work-around" and also look at what the standard is and find out why that feature is not standard in your software. There were many instances I needed to switch carriers on a claim by claim basis! the only work around I can see for a software that doesn't allow this is to delete one carrier, add the other and re-add it later on ..but that surely isn't productive or efficient.
