When signing a Doctor from out of State, how do you go about getting the contract signed? I was thinking of him faxing me a signed copy and then sending me the original threw the mail.. How does everyone else do it and do they start the billing before receiving the contract with the orig. sig?

We do fax the contract with our signature on it, then ask them to fax & mail back after signing.  We will begin billing once we receive the faxed copy.

Hello ChristineS,

I would email the contract for signature and they (the providers) would email it back.  Then, I would print and make sure all signature requirements are met, print and send them a copy by mail with other additional information regarding my business (marketing).

Best Regards,

My attorney always advised me to get the original contract signed so I would have them mail me a copy so that I had an original signature. If they faxed me, I would accept that and begin work on the date set in the contract but I would also make sure they put the original in the mail to me.
