dos 9/22/11 knee mri (RT) w/o contrast and ankle (RT) mri w/o contrast.   How would I bill?
the cpt i found was 73721= MRI lower extremity w/o contrast.. would I bill 73721-TC RT with 2 units?   Thank you!

Sorry Karren, I'm not a coder.   :(  I wish I could help.  I'm thinking yes, but totally from a biller's perspective.  You need a coder to verify.

Hi,
I generally bill these on two separate lines for clarity.
Some carriers will deny when billed as two units.
