I have a lot of subscribers using Office Alley who are REALLY happy. I've heard nothing but good things about them.

As I understand there is no contract?
Do you use their software?
How is the service?
Do you have any advice.

There is a contract. You are agreeing to use their practice management program and clearinghouse. But it does not cost you anything. Yes I use it. I like it because it's functional and it's really neat the way the EHR, PM, and clearinghouse flow together. The service is great. The e-mail responses are typical (up to 24 hours) but you can always call up there and get someone on the phone who is more than willing to help with everything you need.

I would recommend doing a demo of the program. It's simple and you can play around with it to see if it's something that would really work for you. Remember, that with any software you have to spend some times with it to really get how it works. So spend more than an hour with it  before you make your decision. Also, if you decide to use it, you can easily import and export information to and from other software programs. So it's a good choice if you're using another software right now.

I hope this helps!

I've been using Office Ally for about nine months and think it's great.  It's free - claims are easily uploadable from my software.  Claims are received by carriers within a few days with all carriers that we use.  I haven't had any problems so far.  If there's problem, you can fix it online and resubmit.
