Void Claim
« on: February 10, 2009, 12:06:31 PM »
I need to void payments from Blues for a home care patient. I was told to use a 338 bill type but I can't find anything that indicates this is a valid type of bill. Can you let me know if that is the correct type of bill to use.

I'm not sure, I've never had to VOID a claim on a UB04.

Anyone else ??

338 would be accurate if its home health (outpatient/freestanding) voided claim. The first digit 3 (home health) 2nd digit 3 (outpatient or free standing clinic) third digit 8 voided claim
