There is a section in the forum here about medical billing software, you may want to take a look at the posts there for some ideas. I have not heard of the software you mentioned, so I can provide no advice on it.

I will say this, often the client will already have a software and clearinghouse in place, and you simply use what they have. Saves you money on overhead, and it is easier to learn what they already have, then to convert them over to something new. All the billing companies I work for just use the clients software.

I have not heard of it either.  You should check to see how long it has been around.  Also, like kristin said, check out the software section of the forum.  Lots of opinions and information on different softwares and clearing houses.

Good luck!

Medlook has been around a LONG time.. I have not seen their EHR or their online version or their newest but when I looked at it a few years ago it reminded me of Medisoft. I've never been a big fan of Medisoft, but to be fair that biased me against really giving it a good demo. Looking at their website now it looks like they have quite a few more options http://www.medlookusa.com/products.php

I am with Kristin, I have not had to buy or pay for software or clearinghouse in a few years and work with the existing PM system the client uses. I ran into too many practices that really didn't want the added expense and loss of control in software switches. Saves me money, them money, and a lot of time on data conversions!
