: Two Chiro visits in the same day

Every once in awhile my chiro will see the same patient in the AM and the PM.  I have the hardest time getting this paid.  I have tried to modifity it with at -76 but it still gets denied as a dup. 

Has anyone found a formula that gets this paid?

The 76 modifier is the most accurate.  The only other thing I can suggest is having a form letter to attach to the claim that explains that due to the patients condition ...  blah blah blah ....  so that you are explaining why the patient was seen twice on one day up front instead of waiting for the denial.
