I currently work for an urgent care with family practice providers and wonder if there is additional coding to the E/M code for using proparacaine drops , fluorescein dye and slit lamps?  Patients come in for eye pain, some are corneal abrasions, or checking for foreign body, but not all have foreign body removal.  Can we charge in addition to the E/M code, or is this bundled in with the E/M?
