insicion and drainage

Hi everyone, 

Can somebody help in how to bill this procedure.  My doctor  is doing insicion and draine with infiltration, and ansthesia using lidocaine 1% combained with epinephrine.  The cpt I'm using is 10060.  I would like to know is this is the right code for the incision, what is the J code for the injections, and whatis the CPT for infiltration and Local Anesthersia. I'll appreciate your help, is very confuse for me.  thank you

If you are confused, then you are not a coder.  If you are not a coder, you should not be selling your services as a coder to the doctor.  In this situation, your doctor should be telling you what codes to use.  You should not be the one telling your doctor what codes to use.

I guess you know everything.  If you are part of this forum is to help each other. If you don't have nothing good to help me or somebody else,    please do not participate in this forum.  Maybe when you born at that time you knew everything. God blees you.

I do not know everything.  But I do know the advice I gave you is the correct advice.  Both from a legal standpoint as well as from an ethical standpoint.
