: Office Ally-Clients under One Identity or Separate?
: jbowser13 February 11, 2011, 09:16:45 PM
I have a small business and currently have 3 mental health providers for whom I bill.  Planning to use Office Ally.  Am conflicted as to whether I should set up separate Office Ally account for each provider or have them all under one account in my name.  Any thoughts?

jbowser.....how it will work is this...you will have one acct, your business name....then each time you add a provider, you will complete an add-a-provider form..........if you are going to use their Practice Mate, you will complete a PM user agreement form for each provider---you don't want to have all your providers under one acct, because you need to have them separate for the reports you will need to submit to providers, and also to keep the A/R separate.....what will happen is Office Ally will take YOUR company name when you set up your first acct and then each provider you have will be an extension of your Company name............you will also be assigned a different username and password for each client.........

Michelle is right, (if you are using your own PM system) you set up your office ally account under your billing service name and then submit all claims thru that name.  We have one login for Solutions Medical Billing Inc.  We submit over 70 providers under that one name, but all in separate files that we upload with the provider's name in the filename so that we can identify who they are for.  If you are using Practice Mate, she described the difference in detail.
