Can anyone help me to understand the usage of AM modifier?

AM - Physician Assistant (PA) services,  The AM modifier is attached to a CPT code if the service was provided by a physician assistant.  Usually the rendering NPI is the supervising physician and the modifier indicates the service was performed by a PA.

Can we use this Modifier with any E&M codes like 99212 or 99213
