psychological testing-specific testing
« on: August 16, 2011, 02:19:30 PM »
does anyone bill insurances for a BASC?  If so, how do you do it when there are more than 1.      Example:  Basc 1/2 unit for $75.00    but if the pt does one, each parent, each teacher, etc.    Do you charge for 1 or for each?

No, you can only bill for ONE unit for the child. the parent's forms, school forms are included in that one unit. The insurance company will only pay for one and it has to be the child. You also can't mark up the price to include 4 units billing 1.  For example $150 but put 1 unit.
