Hello,

I have an Interventional Cardiologist in our practice that performed an Insertion of Heat Exchange Catheter while doing a Left and Right Heart Cath.  I am unable to find any coding information on this particular service.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your reply Michelle.  I have the Abiomed info here in the office.  I think I am just going to try the 33999 with the notes field completed for the payer.  We'll see how that goes.  I can't find anything specific to the is procedure and even if I google the procedure you can't find any coding info on it.  I will give that a try and see how it turns out.
