Hi! What substantiates billing an o/v to workman's comp & the pt's insurance? Does the dr have to have 2 sep dictation notes? Thank you so much! I'm new & loving this site! Jen

Glad you are enjoying the site.  Hope it's helpful to you.
If a patient is seen for a workers comp injury, and also for a completely separate medical issue, you can bill both workers comp and the patients medical insurance.  You should have 2 separate dictation notes.
