How helpful it would be for your patients if you could educate them on their deductibles during visits?Do you think it would help in better patient care and optimize patient collections? Please share your insights

Any time you can advise patient's of what they will owe ahead of time is going to be better.  It is information that they should know but anyone in this business knows that the majority of patients do not know or choose not to understand their insurance plans.  I also think it takes the dr out of the middle.  If you tell them up front "your insurance has a $500 deductible so they aren't going to pay on this visit and you will receive a bill from us" then they are expecting the bill.  Otherwise, when they get the bill they may get upset with the dr.

Judging from the language used on Ango Mark's website linked to all of his/her's posts, and the response from paullad, they are both tied to offshore billing companies.

I am still trying to figure out why, if Ango Mark has a billing company or works for the one they post the link to, they are asking the questions that they are asking here. They seem more the type of questions someone in school would ask. JMHO.

Kristen, I totally agree! If they are up and running all these services offered on their website, then they should not be asking some of these questions.
