Practice Partner

Anyone here use Practice Partner for billing? I am in need of some serious help. I have been trying to bill Medicare as a secondary payer and the claim keeps getting rejected/denied. The support team is great but they just cannot figure out why the claims keep getting denied.

Any advice/suggestions.....

Thanks!!

Be sure you're coding the primary as if it were Medicare with all appropriate diagnosis and modifiers.  Even if Medicare is secondary, they want correct (for Medicare) coding.

What are they being denied for?

The claim is being denied at the clearinghouse level as invalid adjustment codes.
The support team has made all changes/adjustments but the claim just keeps
being denied before it even gets to Medicare.   :'(

If the claim is rejecting on the clearinghouse level, the clearinghouse needs to help you find a solution. If you have checked all other options on a "claim level" it seems to me the clearinghouse has some sort of adjustment to make.
