Medicare Common Working File (CWF)
« on: December 11, 2009, 03:53:49 PM »
Hi All I'm in a jam. I have been put in a postion where I need to use the CWF and I have never used before. Everything set up, but no one here has any instructions on how to navigate or use the site once I get in. And we all know how helpful Medicare can be with some subject. Does any one have any Ideas on where I can find a tutorial or website or any info on how to navigate  ????

never used ivans so it may be hard for me to tell you

when we check the cwf it will give you a variety of information
it will list the HMO or medicare replacement plans. They will show an H code where there is a list letting you know who the provider is, but now it should state it as well
it also tells you what RX program they are in
it gives the clients full, coins, and life time reserve days from inpatient stays
it shows the last blilled date. DOELBA and the first billed date

11/01/2009-11/23/2009 which aids in billing
it gives the hopice information, also the span for hospice, if they are snf, and if they have part a/b
