hello,
I have a patient that scheduled a CPE with a physician, however the physician submitted an office visit, which is leaving the patient responsible for a deductible.  The patient does not feel he should have to pay, because the doctor did not perform the CPE.  I know I cannot write off his deductible, but how do I correct this?  Is there a way?

What is the reason the doctor did not perform the scheduled CPE on the patient? Was something else going on with the patient that made the doctor decide to defer the CPE for a later date, maybe because the patient was having other issues that needed to addressed instead?
