If we are credentialled with an insurance, are we obligated to bill the insurance if the client doesn't want to use it? If not, we would like to use a waiver to prevent them from coming back on us later. Does anyone have a sample they could send me?
Also, if we have closed to new clients for an insurance (we are pulling out from the network due to poor reimbursement) but a client wants to pay OOP to come see us (and has the insurance mentioned) are we obligated to bill in this situation?? We will still be seeing current clients under the insurance until they are discharged, but not taking on any new ones.
Thanks!
