Is there a global period for 99214

I have NEVER heard of it having a global period, but it can be included in the global period for certain procedures.

Yeah, a 99214 is just for the date you are billing.

Global periods are for surgical procedures, not an evaluation and Management service.


Global periods are established by (1) States such as with workers compensation, (2) Individual insurance companies and (3) CMS in the RVU file for each code:
