How long did it take you to sign your first client?

Our first client was very small but we signed them about 3 months after we started.

I work/worked for three billing companies. Two had their first client before they even started their companies officially, and the the third got their first client six months in.

It took me 4 weeks. I cold called 4 hrs a day X 5 days a week from Yellow Pages.com, one afternoon I called a Chiropractor in California, offered my services, and he said "yeah, I'm looking for a biller, when can you start?" I nearly fell out of my chair! 2 years later, I'm still doing his billing.
