How do you charge for Medicare and Medicaid claims? I tried to look it up on google and could not find any info.. I live in Texas.

yes i have been told by many people i can not charge for them. Is that true?

You might be referring to states that prohibit doctors from entering into illegal fee-splitting arrangements such as a % of collections.

You should check your state laws and also you should determine your pricing based on how much you want to make, the market in your area..type of specialty, etc.
Some charge per claim, others might do percentage of collections (if allowed in your state), some do hourly or even monthly fees.
