Okay for anyone out there that already has an EMR and has worked with either one of these programs, I am looking for some last minute thoughts on these two different programs.  These are the last 2 that we are choosing between.  The Lytec MD EMR is server based and the clearinghouse used with it is RelayHealth.  AllScripts-MyWay EMR product is Web based and they claim they have their own clearinghouse which is Payor Path.  Any thoughts on either of these products would be greatly appreciated.
I currently use Lytec's PM.  So, of course I would prefer the Lytec simply because it has taken me so long to figure out some of it's functions.
For anyone that has implemented an EMR inside of a practice, which is easier template based or no template?  This is for my provider because we work with one provider a day and we see anywhere from 30 - 60 something patients a day.
Thanks for all the input and thoughts that you can provide!  I appreciate them and hope that everyone has a blessed and relaxing holiday weekend! 8)

The only portion I can offer any suggestions on is the template vs non template.  There are many things that can easily have a template for before hand.  There will always be some parts that will have to be typed.  How can you template "patient was knocked over by his dog this morning and now complains of low back and leg pain"?  Be sure your templates are accurate and have the he/she correct (usually connected to correct information input when the patient firsts presents for care).  Make extra certain that someone proofs the notes, then the doctors proofs again and signs.  Then lock out the note so it can't be changed.

Good luck with your choice!

I have used payorpath clearing house, it was decent. I prefer webbased to server based software system

Thanks for everyone viewing and the replies that I have received.  My provider has chosen to go with the Lytec EMR.  Most of our staff is at least trained on how to enter demographics on the Lytec Practice Management so it won't be huge learning curve for them to learn the EMR portion because it is similarly formatted.  Plus I already know how to do billing in this system.  At any rate, I will keep you posted on functionality.
Thanks again.  Happy Billing!! ;D
