Good afternoon,
I am working with a provider who is new to private practice.  Can the provider write-off the insurance adjustment when filing their income tax?

I am not an attorney or an accountant, but I had a provider who wanted to know the same thing, as well as if they could somehow write-off their penalties from no doing MIPS, etc. The practice accountant said no way it could be written off. But I would recommend the provider ask their accountant directly.
