Credentialing Question
« on: August 16, 2011, 04:52:01 PM »
If I have an Associate Professional Counselor on staff that is working on getting their license can I still bill the insurance with her supervising therapist who is a Psy.D.?
And they must have at least their Associate license to practice at all correct; they cannot practice without a license of some sort?  (I know this is a dumb questions and I know the answer to it I am just re-verifying this as I have seen some seem to think they don’t need a license at all and can just work under a supervising therapist.)

I believe they must have their license, but I would check your state laws.
