(1/5) > >>

Adnare01:
Hi,

Can someone help me in determining correct UOM/Quantity for J1885
Provider bills 4 units of 15mg that makes 60mg,
Strength is 60mg/2mL

Regards,
Tayyab

Michele:
I'm not sure if I'm missing the question because you appear to answer yourself.  If they are billing for 60mg it would be 4 units.  Please let me know if I missed what you are asking.

Adnare01:
I just want to confirm the qualifier if it is ME with quantity as 4?

Regards,
Tayyab

Michele:
ME is a recognized billing qualifier that may be used to identify milligrams as the NDC unit of measure however, drug costs are generally created at the UN or ML
level.   Some insurance carriers may require you to convert to the UN or ML.
