Back up plan

Hi all! As I am a one person show, one of my clients asked "who would take over if something were to happen to you?" This got me thinking, so I posed the question on some facebook groups that I am in. Now I pose the question to any solo billing companies on this list? I am seeking a small, but trust worthy group of billers that would be willing to sign a BAA and to step in as back up for Physical Therapy billing on a short or long term basis should the need arise. I of course, would do the same for you! I look forward to hearing from you!

That's a smart idea. Make sure to include that in your compliance plan! I have two companies I keep in mind for such situations.
It's especially important if you don't have employee's or family to pull the weight when you need it.

Thank you Linda -- just signed up for your newsletter.  I recently spoke with Vanessa Alfred - she spoke very highly of you. I have a very small billing company and am looking for the most affordable contracts available. I have been made aware of Lisles Parker, but so expensive for my little business. Do you know if the "Write a kick butt contract for your medical business e-book is of value? Does it provide templates? Thanks for any direction you may offer.

PMRNC:
That's a great book, the owners of this forum wrote it. Excellent resource to help you with things you might not think of when you have your contracts done. I don't believe in templates at all. I think your contract has to be created right to present, represent and protect your business. It's also reccomended to have an attorney look it over.

I like your biller back-up idea.  Count me in.
