Dual insurance coverage
« on: October 22, 2008, 04:53:17 PM »
Child has coverage under Dad's insurance as primary and Mom's as secondary.  If the child wishes to see a provider that is not on the list of providers for Dad's insurance,( but is par with Mom's insurance) and therefore the service is denied, will the the 2ndry pay for the services?

The 2ndary should cover the services.  You will need to submit to dad's (primary) and get a denial to attach.
