UB 04 secondary claims

Hi,

We have just started billing facility charges for ASC. I have few questions.
1) Can we submit seconday claims using UB04 claims.
2) If so what are the procedures.

Hi,
   If the primary was in the UB04 format, then the 2ndary would also go out on a UB04, assuming you are billing the facility fee portion of the ASC.  The procedures would be the same as the primary, but you would have to attach the primary eob, or include the payment information on the UB04.  It would depend upon what the insurance carrier you are billing requires.
