ICD 10 information
« on: March 10, 2015, 09:22:32 AM »
ICD 10 is coming fast. It seems to me that sending out e mailed information on this subject would not only show my existing clients I'm on top of this subject, but might pursuade some of my prospects to "get off the fence" and sign up for my billing service. Can anyone suggest a site for the most up to date info on this subject? There is quite a bit on the web, but much of it is a bit dated. - Thanks

Why not instead of using same information out there you use the ICD-10 topic to show how your company will help them with ICD-10, especially if you are a coder, this alone would be a plus! If your not a certified coder, than you can use the marketing opportunity to show how you can caputure common errors. Maybe show a few common codes that might be in error with the new system? I think physicians and staff already know it's coming, when it's coming, and why it's coming, I think it's a better opportunity to show them how YOU will be able to help them with the new system.

Sounds like good advise. If I may ask a silly question: How would I go about finding out which codes might be an error with the new system?  :)

I'm only assuming your ready for ICD10.. there are various groups on social media that have been posting some fun facts on ICD-10. Depending on your specialty also you might be able to find something specialty related. :)
