Clearinghouse Help
« on: October 14, 2008, 01:21:56 PM »
Hi. I need help choosing a clearinghouse. :-\  There are many different ones out there with all kinds of pricing (set up fees/monthly fees/adding providers etc) I am just starting out and want to begin the learning process of electronic filing and at this time do not have a lot of claims to submit but I would like the ability to add on services down the road.  Would like some help from others as to who they are using and would recommend starting out with. Thanks.

I would look into Availity.  They seem to have lower costs, and have many free payors.  You can find out info on them at www.availity.com

I'm not really familiar with any others personally at this time.  We have been using software that allows us to be our own clearing house, but we use Availity for some of our payors.

Hopefully others will post on their experiences.
