Toll Free Number
« on: May 20, 2013, 06:06:10 PM »
Hello All,

We are in the process of opening a new billing service for Chiropractors.  I would like to ask everyone who has a toll free number what service they are using? What are the pros and cons? What is the price they are paying? Also, does this include fax services and anything else?

Thank you,
Kimberly & Michael

Cons are that most copays are now higher than the allowed amount for chiropractors so you are submitting to insurance but getting little or no reimbursement.  Also, workers' comp (at least in NY) has made it very difficult for chiros to treat patients.  Medicare is also making things difficult for chiros.  In order to treat a patient for more than 1-2 regions you have to submit extensive notes.

As for 800 number we use Americom Communications.  I can't complain.

Hope that helps.  :)
