Does anyone on the form do any billing for Therapeutic Wilderness Programs?

I just did up a UB04 for a parent of a child who attended a Therapeutic Wilderness Program.  I don't know if she got any reimbursement.

Did you do the UB04 for the daily rate? Or just the therapy sessions?

Michele,
The reason I ask if you did it for the daily rate or the therapy sessions is because there is no code for "Wilderness" Program and we are not licensed as RTC so I don't know what would be the most appropriate code to use and not be misleading to the insurance.....

Both.  I used a room & board code for the daily rate.  It's obvious by the other information that it's a wilderness program.  We weren't trying to hide anything.  Just billing.  The parent wants to see if they get any reimbursement.

So you broke out the therapy sessions such as 90806 or 90853 and then prepared UB for the room and board? I'm just trying to figure out the best code to room and board for wilderness..... 1001 Rev code do you think? Or could you share what code you used for Room and Board?

I did all on one UB04.  I billed the room & board on one line, then broke out each therapy session.  I used 0160 - Room and Board Other.
