Interview with Client
« on: January 17, 2011, 06:43:45 PM »
Hello,

I have interview scheduled for Jan 26 with one ENT client. This is my first official interview.  Please guide me to be successful on this. Currently other billing company is doing client's billing but client is not very happy with it. I do not have more details on the issues. Any help will be appreciated.

Talk to the provider about why they are unhappy with the current billing service.  If you know what was going wrong you can talk to the provider about how you will handle things so that these same problems won't occur.  You also must have confidence in yourself and be able to communicate that confidence.  You have been doing billing for a long time and you know what you are doing.  (I do know this to be true as I know aksharhealth)  Try not to be nervous.  Don't talk too much.  Get the provider to reveal as much as possible.  Good luck!  Hope the ankle is doing well now.

Thankyou very much. Yes my ankle is good. I will take copy of generic contract, provider information sheet and some scenarios on paper from other clients where I worked hard to get back logged payment which they did not expected. Please let me know if I am missing any thing.

Sounds like you are ready!  If you know of any EDI paperwork you may need you could bring that along as well.  If they are unhappy it is probably because they are not receiving the reimbursement they think they should be, so bringing those examples are good.  But make sure to listen to what the problems are before getting in too deep.  You want to make sure you address those.  It may not be the billing service, but it may be the provider.  You never know until you get in there.

Best wishes!  and break a leg (just kidding!)

Electronic Data Interchange, this is the paperwork your clearinghouse/vendor needs to link the provider up for electronic claims.

Speaking of interview with Client...anyone know of a book , website, or program that has welcome letter templates, or pre or post letter to clients...brochures templates etc. Just want to purchase and edit ...

No, EDI paperwork is just papers that must be completed and signed by the provider to allow a billing service to submit claims electronically.
