Patient data

I guess I'm a little confused on how it works when you sign up a client that has already been in practice. How do you get all the patient information into your system?

well you either enter it manually.. or inquire as to a data conversion from your software vendor.  I always recommend clean data (manual) since you never know who's garbage you are putting in your software, plus there is a lot less errors!

Each provider gives it to us in a different format.  Some give us all the info in a report, some print it out as they give us claims.  There is no right or wrong way.  Whatever works out best.
