Accounting degree and medical billing practice
« on: January 26, 2015, 06:22:22 PM »
I have been working as an accountant for over 10 years I decided to make a change and took a medical billing and coding cert. I am now wanting to open a billing and coding business what i want to know is how should i market myself and should I use the fact that I have a degree in accounting or will that matter?

A degree in accounting is excellent.. just don't call yourself JUST a medical billing company, focus on FULL practice management, with your accounting degree it will be a bonus when marketing!! Don't be afraid to market with your resume.
