I have been asked to start billing for a group hom that has five residents. I was not sure of what can be billed for them. If anyone can help me or tell me where to look I would appreciate it. The home wants to know what they can bill to get reimbursed for any overhead or charges etc,

I would start by asking them if they are talking about billing for the residential services and if so, what type of facility are they classified as.  Or are they billing for outpatient services such as counseling?  Very vague, is that all they said when they asked?  THey need to give you more info.

They are wanting to bill for residential services provided for the group home to residents

Are these patients to be billed as private pay or to Medicaid.  We still,  I think need more information.  Is the facility Medicaid certified?

Yes, are they classified as a type of facility, if so what type?
