billing bilateral therapies

 Hi,
 
 I am billing PT bilaterally on a pts' knees is the following correct?

office visit 1 unit
RT, GP 2 units
LT, GP 2 units  listed like this for each therapy given?

or do I need to use 59 each item billed?

That is the correct way to do it.  The 59 modifier should not be necessary.
