Box 32 on new HCFA 1500 form
« on: December 16, 2010, 06:22:20 PM »
Hi everyone,

When a Doctor saw a patient at another Dr’s office do I need to put in a service location in box 32?
Same question if a doc works together with someone else but also has his own location and bills for himself?

(My software will  not fill the box 32 if POS 11 (doctor's office) is selected
I'm billing GHI and my doctor wants me to fill it out (and I don't want that he should blame me for denial

Thanks a lot,
Westy

Even with POS 11 you should be able to complete box 32.  There should be a setting or something to allow this.  Maybe it is set to not complete that box if you use POS 11.  Anyway, the address where the patient was treated should be in box 32.

yeah I agree, something in settings, I can't see even the worse PM software not allowing that
